- ST EMULATOR FOR THE AMIGA
-
- This is a 100% software only emulator for the Amiga. It will run a fair
- amount of Atari software but some programmes, mainly games, will not work
- and simply "bomb" out (crash).
-
- PLEASE NOTE THAT AN EXTERNAL DISK DRIVE MUST BE ATTACHED TO YOUR AMIGA
- TO ALLOW THE SOFTWARE TO RUN.
-
- Have fun with this programme and remember that TOS is not PD. No
- responsability will be accepted by anyone should you wipe a disk or do
- something to ruin a programme. You will have no one to blame but yourself.
- If you select a function you do not want in GEM then you can undo it by
- selecting ABBRUCH, if avilable, which means cancel.
-
- There are NO Atari programmes on this disk so you will have to supply your
- own software.
-
- The ST Emulator was written by someone in Germany who goes by the name of
- "TILL". He obviously does not want to let on who he really is because the
- Atari operating system is living in a metormorphic form in the programme.
- The Atari Corp should n't mind too much because Commodore did n't make a
- fuss when Amiga owners were swapping Workbench 1.3 with each other?
-
- Still, have fun using it and remember it won't run everything because this
- is not an ST! (A wolf in sheeps' clothing and all that!)
-
- Don't forget to allow the emulator at least ten seconds to figure out the
- ST software so expect some screen flashes and a few pauses. The emulator
- will not run crunched software so most demos and games won't run.
-
- One more thing. The ST filing system uses extensions just like an IBM
- machine. ie. .PRG at the end of a file name means it is a programme. .TEXT
- at the end of a name means it is a text file and can be read by double
- clicking on it and selecting the correct box from any requesters. A
- directory icon looks like a folder and a text file looks like a piece of
- paper.
-
- Why do you want to emulate an ST when you have an Amiga, anyway?
